Ophthalmic technicians or technologists help
ophthalmologists collect data and measurements to allow the correct diagnosis
and treatment of eye disease and problems. They work at hospitals, clinics, or
for ophthalmologists in private practice.
Salary: The average salary the get is about $14-$25k
Education: students will need a high school diploma or GED
certificate and two years of collage prior to beginning ophthalmologists
training programs.
Reflection: I think I would not like to be one of these
technicians because it doesn’t sound interesting.
