Oral Care Professional

Duties and Responsibilities:  A career as a dental hygienist offers a wide range of challenges. In the dental office, the dentist and the dental hygienist work together to meet the oral health needs of patients. Since each state has its own specific regulations regarding their responsibilities, the range of services performed by hygienists varies from state to state.

Salary: There average salary is about $70,000 per year

Education: Choose from more than 150 free continuing dental education courses – a CE library provided exclusively by Procter & Gamble’s Crest Oral-B.  The Procter & Gamble Company is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider and is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry for Fellowship, Mastership, and Membership Maintenance Credit.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to be an Oral Care Professional because I don’t find it interesting.
