Glenn Cunningham was born in 1909, and when Glenn was 8 years old a school turned on fire and Glenn's legs were very badly burn in the explosion of the fire. His brother died in the fire and he was thirteen years old. The doctors predicted that Glenn will never normally walk again. He had lost all his flesh and his knees and shines and all the toes of his left foot. It was in the early summer in 1919 when he first try to walk again after two years after the accident. But Glenn started to walk and run and running was his dream. He joined the olympics of 1932 summer and 1936 summer olympics and he won the gold metal.
