Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Electroneurodianostic technologist use electronic graphs to determine if patients are suffering from a central nervous system condition or disease like epilepsy, tumors, stroke, or trauma. The graphs are records of the brain’s electrical activity.
Electroneurodiagnostic technologists usually work in hospitals, laboratories, or physicians’ offices. They:
Ø Prepare medical records.
Ø Apply electrodes and select instrument settings.
Ø Preform electronurodiagnostic tests.
Ø Adjust and maintain their equipment.
Ø Record test results.
Ø Identity patient abnormities.
Average Salary: $20,000-$35,000
Educational Requirements:
Electroneurodiagnostic training can be obtained through vocational schools, community colleges, and some cases hospitals. Training takes one year and is followed by another year os supervised experience. Before beginning practice electroneurodiagnostic technologists must pass written and oral examinations.
I do not want to be a electroneurodiagnostic technologist because i have no passion for this and i have no feelings to be in a hospital setting.
